Hello. I'm Cesar, a photographer based in Houston, TX. I never thought I'd be writing an "About Me" section for a photography website, yet here I am, and I could tell you that I attended a well-known photography or art school, but that’s not my story. I’m a self-taught photographer who has always admired the unique photography styles of seasoned and aspiring photographers alike. While portrait photography is my main focus, I’m inspired by everything from weddings, real estate photography, corporate headshots, to scenic drone shots. As a photographer since mid-2019, I’ve built my brand, by learning that it’s not just about knowing how to set my camera’s technical settings—but focusing and capturing moods, light, color, and the joy of a session as it happens. Whether I’m capturing the beauty of a portrait, the emotions of a wedding, or showcasing a client’s professionalism and friendliness with a corporate headshot, I strive to bring the same passion, time, and dedication, because the best part of my work is hearing my clients say, “My photos look amazing!”

When I’m not behind the lens, my life is beautifully full. In December 2023, I married Amelia, my best friend and the love of my life. She didn’t just become my partner in life but also became an essential part of Visual Apertures Photography. Whether she's assisting on shoots or handling the behind-the-scenes work, Amelia’s presence elevates every project we take on. Her creativity, attention to detail, and unwavering support make us a dynamic duo in delivering exceptional photography services. When we're not on a photo session, you'll likely find us spending time with our two beautiful daughters, a 5 month and 21 yr old. Our work is deeply inspired by the love, connection, and fun we have as a family, making us bring that same energy to every project we take on, and together, we’re dedicated to providing our clients with unforgettable experiences and photographs that will be cherished for years to come.
